Music brings us closer: talented child from Turkey wins the heart of Ashgabat music lovers


The Ashgabat Music and Drama Theater named after Mahtumkuli hosted the concert that brought together young talents of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
Ashgabat audience met with Selin Samsar, a young violinist girl from Turkey, who managed to win the hearts of classical music lovers in many countries. The joint concert of Selin with the Turkmen Youth Chamber Orchestra conducted by Ruslan Klychev presented the audience with an amazing palette of emotions, creating a unique atmosphere of fraternal unity of the two nations in the hall.
The concert organized by the Embassy of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan pleased the audience with the performances of the children's choir of the joint Turkmen-Turkish school and the choir group “Gunesh” of the specialized music boarding school in Ashgabat.
This concert opened a series of events that will please the Ashgabat audience this month. Very soon, the concerts of Italian and French musicians will be held at the Ashgabat Music and Drama Theater named after Mahtumkuli, which once again reminds us that Ashgabat is a multicultural capital that unites people from all over the world.
