Rustam Minnikhanov presented Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the order «Duslyk»
In Ashgabat, the meeting of the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan was held, after which Rustam Minnikhanov handed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the Order "Duslyk" (Friendship), TDH news agency reported. As it was noted, the Turkmen leader was awarded the high award of Tatarstan for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations. The current event is a sign of mutual respect and trust between the two peoples," Minnikhanov stressed. Accepting the order, President Berdimuhamedov said that he regards this award as a testament to the successful Turkmenistan-Tatarstan cooperation. President Minnikhanov flew to Ashgabat to participate in the opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Games. During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed the opportunities for building partnerships in the trade, economic, oil and gas and chemical industries.
