Berdimuhamedov handed over flags of arms and military banners
On May 10, at the Oguzkhan Palace Complex, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed over flags of military arms and military banners to individual units of the MF, reports the information broadcast of Vatan of the Turkmen State Television and Radio.
Flags of the units of troops were handed over to the Commander of the Army, the Air Force and the Navy of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. Also, the Turkmen leader handed military banners to the commanders of the units of the State Border Service of the country and the special task unit of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan.
As follows from the centuries-old military traditions, the flags of the arms of the troops and the military banners handed down by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief will be kept in military units under special protection as a symbol of unchangeable loyalty to the Motherland, the personification of dignity and holiness.
