The names of the heroes are immortal: celebrations in honor of the Victory Day were held in the schools of Turkmenistan
In Turkmen schools, the great attention is paid to the fact that the young generation of the Turkmen people do not forget about the great feat of the war heroes and the workers of the home front of the Great Patriotic War.
... In the early morning, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the Victory Day began in a specialized school No. 27. Covered with a shadow of majestic green trees, the schoolyard gathered hundreds of children and their parents who were carefully prepared for today's celebration.
In the middle of the site, there are schoolchildren holding portraits of their relatives who took part in the War of 1941-1945. Overflowing with pride, they listened attentively to the heartfelt lines of classmates, telling of the great feat of peoples united in order to protect our freedom and to give peace to future generations.
The children recited poems in Turkmen and Russian, as the school is specialized in study of foreign languages. Linguistic diversity at the celebration also became a wonderful reminder that during the Great Patriotic War all the peoples of the USSR and soldiers of the Allied states fought shoulder to shoulder, not paying attention to nationality.

Activities in the school are hold frequent and aimed at ensuring that children practice foreign languages and master the culture and customs of the native speakerы. It helps to assimilate foreign languages at a better level, because culture and language come hand in hand.
The school was visited many times by celebrities from countries whose languages are studied by pupils (English, German, French). For example, Madam Daniel Mitterrand, the spouse of former French President Francois Mitterrand, came here. Ambassadors and members of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan are the often guests of the school also. They actively participate in various activities carried out in the school, which are aimed at strengthening the international cultural and humanitarian dialogue.
The school cooperates with the Embassy of Germany on PASCH Program (Schulen: Partner der Zukunft), which allows gifted children to undergo in-depth language training. Each pupil of the school is given the opportunity to pass a specialized PASCH Exam, which tests their knowledge of German language.
In the case of a successful test, students will have the opportunity to complete two-week language training in Germany, where they can apply their knowledge in practice, learning the language and communicating with the native speakers. Successful passing of the exam also increases the chances of students to enroll in universities in Germany.
Graduates of the school No.27 most often choose the Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamet Azadi and the Turkmen State University named after Mahtumkuli for further study specialization.
The school has all conditions for pupils to realize their talents. The international level of the school is confirmed by the UNICEF certificate issued in 2014, which confirms the status of this school as one of the best in Turkmenistan.
