Hong Kong athlete aims to celebrate 23rd birthday by winning at Ashgabat Asian Games
Athletics star from Hong Kong, high jumper, model Cecilia Yeung Man-wai hopes to celebrate her 23rd birthday with the champion performance at the Games "Ashgabat 2017".
According to the tournament schedule, she will appear on the athletics arena of the Olympic town Monday, 18 September.
During Asian Athletics Championships, hosted in India July this year, the athlete won silver, breaking the height of 1.8 meters. The best indicator of Cecilia and at the same her home record is 1.88 meters.
Hong Kong sent to the Turkmen capital a contingent of 119 athletes to compete in 10 sports. The team includes the bronze medalist of the London Olympic Games2012, racing cyclist Sarah Lee Wai-sze, who will take part in 3 disciplines: Keirin, individual and team sprint.
