Yagshimuradov is ACB Light Heavyweight Champion

Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov is the first fighter from Turkmenistan and from the Central Asian region who win a major title of Light Heavyweight Champion on ACB (Absolute Championship Berkut), having won a confident victory over the current holder of this title Batraz Agnaev from Russia.
The title fight on ACB 86 Mixed Martial Arts was held on May 5 in Moscow.
Yagshimuradov defeated Agnaev in the second round, and it was the first defeat of the Russian fighter in his career.
The tactics of the Turkmen fighter were clear from the very beginning. Every time he received strong blows from the current champion, he immediately sought the opportunity to knock down an opponent on the ground.
After knocking the opponent out of the rut with a right-hand strike in the first 90 seconds of the second round, Yagshimuradov seized Agnaev from the back and applied necklock, after which the Russian fighter decided to yield to the Turkmen fighter.
This is the sixth running victory for the 28-year-old Dovletdzhan. Using his own fighting technique, the Turkmen guy overcame such experienced rivals as Joachim Christensen, Jared Torgeson, Den Konetsko and Luis Fernando Miranda.
As ORIENT wrote previously, Dovletdzhan is also the Karate Champion of Turkmenistan, the Free Fight and Grappling (one of the types of martial arts) Champion of the Kharkov region, Ukraine.
