Presentation “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road” was held in Seoul
In Seoul, the Korean University of Foreign Languages hosted an international humanitarian action “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road." The event, aimed at stimulating and enriching the interethnic dialogue, cultural diplomacy and popularization of the historical heritage of the Turkmen people, was attended by undergraduates and teachers of the CIS Department of this higher educational institution.
The presentation, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea, acquainted Korean scientists with the unique cultural heritage of the country, which keeps traces of the most ancient civilizations and evidences of the highest level of development of crafts, arts, architecture and sciences.
The participants was provided also with detailed information on modern Turkmenistan, the main directions of its internal policy, implemented in the country, and the state structure as well as on reforms and their results.
One of the central issues that gave rise to lively debates were the key vectors of the peaceful foreign policy strategy of the neutral Turkmen state, its international initiatives that influence the formation of a new global architecture of common security and sustainable development.
