Turkmen musicians will celebrate 145th birthday of Rakhmaninov with a concert

On May 5, a concert dedicated to the 145th Anniversary of the outstanding Russian composer Sergei Rakhmaninov will take place in the large concert hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory. People's artist of Turkmenistan Orazgul Annamuradova, honored artist of Turkmenistan Bibidjemal Amanova with works “Ditya, kak tsvetok ty prekrasna” (“Baby, you are beautiful as a flower”” and “Son” (“Dream”), honored artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov with a sonata for piano will perform at stage. Such well-known compositions of the composer as “Vokaliz” (“Vocalise”) by Bahram Doliyev on the violin with piano accompaniment of Stella Faramazova, romances “Polyubila ya pechal’ svoyu” (“I've fallen in love with my sorrow”), “Ya opyat odinok" (“I'm alone again”), “Zdes horosho” (“It's good here”), “Margaritki” (“Daisies”), “Italyanskaya pol’ka” (“Italian polka”), “Vsyo otnyal u menya” (“Everything took from me”), “V molchanii nochi taynoy” (“In the silence of the night the secret”), “Oni otvechali” (“They answered”), and “Vesenniye vody” (“Spring waters”) will be performed also. The winner of the international contest Aybolek Muhyeva will perform with Rhapsody on the theme of Paganini – for piano and orchestra, Ashir Ashirov – with a festive Etude Es-dur, the first year student of Turkmen National Conservatory Merdan Charyev will perform “Plyaska tsyganok” (“Dance of Gipsy Ladies”) from the opera “Aleko”. The concert will bring the audience into the era of a great musician, known throughout the world, and will provide an opportunity to get pleasure listening to his remarkable works once again.Ayjahan ATABALLIYEVA
