The winner of the International beauty contest among the Ahalteke horses in 2018, held in the Ahalteke horse complex near Ashgabat, was the dark-brown stallion Berkararlyk. This decision was taken by the authoritative jury of the contest, headed by the President of the Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding of the Kingdom of Spain, Blanca de Toledo Loma Osorio. I must say that the task facing the jury, which included well-known people in the Ahalteke horse breeding, including from abroad, was not an easy one. They had to choose the most beautiful horse of the 10 magnificent representatives of the breed that went to the final part of the contest. Each of these horses was worthy of the title of the most beautiful horse of the year. But the first place is only one, and the jury after long discussions of all the merits of the contenders for the victory, came to the conclusion that the most beautiful Ahalteke horse in Turkmenistan in 2018 is Berkararlyk stallion, whose name is translated into English as Power. Everything seems roght, because it's not for nothing that wise people say that beauty is a powerful force. The most beautiful Ahalteke in 2018 is an animal of a private farmstead, which is also symbolic. Business, private initiative come to the fore, including even in such a case as the development of horse breeding. This is an area that gives people more moral and spiritual satisfaction than material benefits. Although options are there. After all, the owner of the Ahalteke-winner, private horse breeder Begmyrat Khojalyev, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, was handed the keys to the Toyota Camry.
