Private and public exporters of Turkmenistan will hold a national industrial exhibition in Tashkent. The exhibition complex JSC Uzexpocentre will host the exposition on 23-24 April. On 24 April, the Turkmen-Uzbek business forum will be held in the conference hall of “International hotel Tashkent”. Both events will coincide with the official visit of the Turkmen leader to the capital of Uzbekistan. The exhibition will feature products and services of leading ministries and departments, the largest producers of export products of Turkmenistan, operating in such sectors as the petrochemical industry, agriculture, food industry, medicine, pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics, telecommunications and information technologies. Along with the industrial leitmotif, the upcoming fair will focus on the achievements and potential of Turkmenistan in the science, technical sector, sports, tourism and education. The pavilions with a wide range of carpets, including handmade carpets and souvenirs, will be dedicated to the theme of Turkmen folk art at the exhibition. The upcoming business meeting and exhibition will be a fruitful continuation of the search for promising bilateral contacts between the business communities of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. At the end of March, Ashgabat hosted an industrial review "Made in Uzbekistan", during which the parties cut the deals worth over US $ 6.5 million.
