Turkmen dance group “Shatlyk” at the International Children's Day Festival in Turkey

Children dance group "Shatlyk" from Turkmenistan takes part in the 40th International April 23 Children's Day Festival that taking place in the Turkish city of Bursa. The festival, organized by Turkish Radio and Television Corporation TRT, gathered more than 800 children from 40 countries. As part of the music and dance program, they present the folk dance of their country to the audience.Ayjahan ATABALLIYEVA
Since 1979 “TRT International April 23 Children’s Day Festival” is the first and only festival for children celebrated at an international level. The Festival intends to contribute creation of a world where children can live peacefully by developing sentiments of fraternity, love and friendship. Such cities as Istanbul, Antalya, Bursa, Gaziantep, Nevsehir and others hosted the holiday in previous years of its celebration.
The dance group “Shatlyk” of the Ashgabat Palace of Children and Youth is a winner of many international competitions and festivals.
