The winners of the championship of Turkmenistan on judo will go to Jakarta
On April 21-22nd the Ashgabat Olympic city will host the championship of Turkmenistan in judo with participation of athletes from regions and the capital.
Competitions for men will take place in the following weight categories: 60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, 100 kg, for women - 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 63 kg, 70 kg, 78 kg, and +78 kg.
The judging panel of the championship will include the director of the national judo center D. Baimyradov, the international class Judge R. Amandurdyev and the national class referee O. Mukhammetdurdiev.
This championship is the qualifying stage on the way to the XVIII Asian Games, which will be held in Jakarta in August this year.
Earlier, Turkmen judoists successfully performed at international tournaments "Agadir Grand Prix 2018" in Morocco and "Tbilisi Grand Prix 2018" in Georgia, adding three bronze awards to the treasury of the country. The medalists are Gulbadam Babaramuratova (up to 52 kg) and Batyr Hodzhamuhammedov (up to 100 kg).
