UAE to offer tourism experience for transit travelers


The government of UAE develops a new regulation, which will permit transit tourists to stay a day in the city, local mass media reports.
The new enhanced entry rules are aimed at encouraging the tourism industry and to provide additional flows into the local budgets. So, the tourists, transiting through any of the Emirati cities, will be able to get entry visas and have the opportunity to enjoy the famous sights.
In 2017 the transit passengers in the UAE made up 70 % of the total passengers last year.
Ashgabat is connected by air link with Dubai, one of the busiest transport hubs in UAE and Midle East. Mover 50 million stopover passenger flows move through the Dubai International Airport annually and 46 million do not visit the city.
When, the new entry system implemented, the travelers for Turkmenistan will be able to visit such attractions in Dubai as Dubai frame, skyscraper Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the world, as well as a numerous museums and parks.
