If you are one of those who crave travel to exotic places with incredible views and unforgettable impressions, then there is great news for you. In just a few years you will be able to stay in the world's first space hotel. And no, this is not a praise for the institution. In 2022, Orion Span plans to open the space station-hotel Aurora Station on the orbit. The developers plan to design a capsule 13 meters long and 4 meters wide with the possible expansion of the area to accommodate a larger number of passengers.Arslan KEMALOV
Those wishing to become a guest of this hotel, first have to go through a three-month training program. The program includes online courses, training at the Orion Span training center in Houston, the USA, and the final training at the space station itself. Think that settling into a hotel requires too much effort? This is nothing compared to the training of astronauts.
It is planned that the board of the hotel Aurora will accomodate 6 passengers, including professional astronauts-guides.
Here's what they write on the developer's site: "At an altitude of about 322 kilometers, you will have an incredible view: the hotel will be close enough to take a picture of your home town, but at the same time far enough so that you can look at the whole blue planet. In one circle around the Earth, you will see an uncountable number of sunrises and sunsets."
The price of such an adventure is "astronomical", too. For a 12-day stay at the hotel, those wishing will have to pay out 9.5 million US dollars. Surprisingly, all the bookings have already been sold for the first four months.
