Russia ratifies strategic partnership agreement with Turkmenistan

The head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Treaty on Strategic Partnership between Turkmenistan and Russia, Vesti.Ru reports. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the agreement during Putin's official visit to Ashgabat on October 2, 2017. The treaty is aimed at deepening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia in the economic, political and humanitarian spheres.
