Turkmen and Uzbek businessmen building up trade partnership


Representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have stricken export deals worth of US $ 6.7 million. Several contract more with total cost of over US $ 2 million are on the stage of working out, reports UZDaily. The contracts were signed on the sidelines of the exclusive industrial exhibition “Made in Uzbekistan” hosted by Ashgabat at the end of March. So, according to contracts, the individual enterprise "Kurbanova M." will supply construction materials. Agreements for the export of confectionery products are concluded with "Azat Par" and "Asia Trading" companies. “Mizemez Bent" will offer the Turkmen consumers of footwear products, and company “Gurlan CNC Tech” will export woodworking machinery. These transactions are another stage of intensification of trade relations between the business communities of the two neighboring countries. Uzbek entrepreneurs are focused on long-term contacts with the Turkmen market, which, in turn, is always open to mutually beneficial equal partnership. Over 70 enterprises and companies, including state-run industrial corporations, operating in fuel and energy complex, machine-building, chemical industry, as well as private manufacturers of textiles, food, leather goods, took part in the Ashgabat exhibition.
