On Saturday, March 31st, Ashgabat hosted the first international conference on the development of the chemical industry in Turkmenistan. The Forum has become an excellent platform for expanding and strengthening international cooperation in the processing industry, both for public and private enterprises in the country. By the way, representatives of domestic business on this site have gathered quite a lot. This is understandable, because, as the events of the first three months of 2018 showed, the Turkmen government sees entrepreneurship as the driving force that will lead the country's economy to an entirely new level. It is necessary to recall that the state allocated three billion dollars to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for the implementation of two major projects, including the chemical industry. The current forum gathered delegates from the world's largest companies, and each of them has a rich set of proposals for cooperation with the Turkmen business. The reports of the conference participants showed several key points that were repeated from speech to speech. First of all, Turkmenistan is the richest country in terms of resources, and there are a huge number of spheres whose potential is only to be realized. The second important point is to process raw materials and share experience in this direction. Thirdly, it is necessary to strengthen partnerships, enter into long-term and mutually beneficial contracts that will open prospects for all stakeholders. This is due to the fact that only long-term cooperation can fully utilize the entire natural potential of Turkmenistan and bring maximum benefit. At the same time, not only to those parties that are directly working on specific projects, but primarily to the population of the country, as well as to other companies that can join the common cause at the next stages. Whatever it was, the new platform for discussions proved very promising. The participants of the forum practically "shone" with new ideas and were filled with the desire to cooperate. In the near future, this promises the news about new contracts and increased flow of investments into the processing industry of Turkmenistan, which, quite possibly, will be able to catch up with the volume of investment in the fuel and energy complex. Why not?
