Babamuratova continued her bronze series Grand Prix
An athlete from Turkmenistan Gulbadam Babamuratova won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 52 kilograms at the international tournament on judo "Tbilisi Grand Prix 2018", held in the Georgian capital from March 30th to April 1st.
She managed to overcome her opponents from Georgia and Israel, losing only in the quarterfinals to an athlete from Kazakhstan. And in the final Gulbadam snatched the victory from judoist from America Angelica Delgado.
This is the second bronze medal for Gulbadam on the Grand Prix series this season after the tournament in Morocco's Agadir in early March.
As ORIENT previously wrote, only 5 athletes Batyr Gurbaniazov, Parahat Byashimov, Tejen Tejenov, Batyr Hojamuhammedov and Gulbadam Babamuratova represent Turkmenistan at the "Tbilisi Grand Prix 2018".
