Berdimuhamedov highly praised the organization of elections on March 25
The distinctive organizational features of the elections held on March 25 testify to the high level of development of national democracy. It was stated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the government session on Thursday, March 29, the information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Committee reports. The Turkmen leader also stressed that it is necessary to carefully analyze the work done in this direction and, if appropriate, ordered to make proposals for further improving the procedures for holding elections in the country. The first meeting of the newly elected Mejlis deputies after the elections will be held on Friday, March 30, and the meeting of the members of Halk Maslahaty – on the eve of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan.
