The final turnout in the March 25th elections in Turkmenistan was more than 91%
On Sunday, March 25th at 19:00 Turkmenistan has finished the elections to the Mejlis, the Halk Maslahaty and the Gengeshi. According to the results of the vote, turnout was more than 91%. 91.69% of Turkmen voters managed to give their votes for the deputies of the Mejlis, 91.75% for members of velayat, etrap and city halk maslahaty, and 91.68% for Gengeshes. Over 16,000 Turkmen citizens voted at polling stations opened in foreign countries.
