Berdimuhamedov voted in the elections of the deputies of the Mejlis and Halk Maslahaty members
This morning, President Berdimuhamedov arrived at the polling station located at school No.68 named after Annaniyaz Artyk, where he voted for candidates of the deputies of the Mejlis of the VI convocation and Halk Maslahaty members. Receiving the voting ballot, the President of Turkmenistan addressed those present. “All three political acting parties of our country take part in these elections for the first time. The citizens of the country actively participates in this important event that testifies to the commitment of our society to the democratic processes and the principle of political diversity.” The President also stressed that today's social and political event will play a key role in the implementation of the Programme for the further development of the country in 2018-2024. Berdimuhamedov also wished success to each candidate in the elections, and the people of Turkmenistan – all the best and prosperity.
