Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan celebrated its 10th anniversary
On Tuesday, March 20th, the Institute of International Relations in Ashgabat hosted a scientific and practical conference and a specialized exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the university.
Established in 2008, the Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan contributed to an increase in the diplomatic activity of the country, which was provided by qualified personnel - graduates of the IIR.
In the modern world, when rapid changes are taking place in the society and politics of foreign countries, future diplomats who comprehend the basics of foreign policy activity are engaged in scientific search on an ongoing basis in accordance with advanced teaching methods.
The teaching staff of the university consists not only of theorists, but also diplomats-practitioners who share their rich experience with young people, providing the future specialists with the information that is useful for them in everyday work.
The university also hosts the Scientific and Methodological Center for the Purposes of Sustainable Development and the Training Center for administrative and Technical Personnel for the Diplomatic Service of Turkmenistan, which are aimed at the practice-oriented training of future specialists.
At the exhibition, which 2was held in the foyer of the Institute, visitors could see paintings and works of national arts and crafts reflecting the ancient history and modernity of Turkmenistan.
The theme of hospitality of the Turkmen people is also a major thread. It is also reflected in the modern foreign policy activity of Turkmenistan, following the principles of neutrality and openness for mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries of the world.
Creating a firm basis for further expansion and deepening of the country's foreign policy, the Institute for International Relations of Turkmenistan continues to improve its curriculum, attracting the most talented students interested in working in this important field.
