Ashgabat and Tehran prepare Rouhani’s visit

On Monday, March 19th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with the Iranian delegation led by the Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zangane. During the meeting, the Turkmen side underlined that the forthcoming visit of President Hassan Rouhani will give a new impetus to the development of Turkmen-Iranian cooperation in all directions. Also the talks included the discussion on the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran. Hassan Rouhani has previously visited Ashgabat in March 2015.
