Turkmenistan Presents Concept of Indivisible Security in Eurasia at Minsk Conference

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov participated in the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, which brought together over 1,300 delegates and experts from nearly 50 countries on November 3–4.
Speaking at the forum, the Turkmen diplomat outlined Ashgabat’s position on strengthening international and regional stability. He emphasized the need to develop an indivisible security architecture based on equal dialogue, mutual respect, and strict adherence to the norms of international law.
The foundation of the country’s peace-oriented course remains its permanent neutrality and the philosophy of "Dialogue – a Guarantee of Peace," which focuses exclusively on the political and diplomatic resolution of any disagreements. Among Turkmenistan’s practical priorities are the development of preventive diplomacy, the promotion of transport, logistics, and energy connectivity across the continent, and the deepening of humanitarian cooperation.

A significant highlight of the address was the presentation of Turkmenistan’s initiative to designate 2028 as the "Year of International Law." It was noted that the country is currently preparing a National Action Plan for 2026–2028 to implement comprehensive measures in support of this initiative. In conclusion, Turkmenistan reaffirmed its readiness to provide its neutral diplomatic platform for the development of mutually acceptable solutions to key issues on the Eurasian agenda.
