The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced a new round of Iran-related sanctions on Thursday, targeting 16 individuals and 11 entities.
According to the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control, the measures cover financial institutions, currency exchange firms, as well as energy and trading companies.
The individuals and entities were added to OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List.
