Young Performer from Turkmenistan to Appear at the "White Cane" Festival in Moscow

On October 15, International White Cane Day, the 17th International Charity Festival "White Cane" will take place at the "Moskva" concert hall in Moscow. This inclusive celebration of music brings together over 50 blind and visually impaired vocalists from 11 countries, with young performer Babagylych Annacharyev representing Turkmenistan on the festival's main stage.

Founded by singer Diana Gurtskaya, the project has evolved over the past 17 years into a cherished international tradition, having brought together more than 12,000 gifted children. The festival’s primary mission is to empower children with special needs, helping them build self-confidence, unlock their creative potential, and perform duets alongside renowned professional artists. This year, the stage will feature performances by Diana Gurtskaya, Ani Lorak, Zara, Valeriya, and other popular stars, who will join the young participants.

Following a selection process that ran from February to September, finalists were chosen from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and the Republic of Serbia. For these young participants, taking part in such a grand-scale gala concert represents more than just a milestone in their vocal careers—it is a true celebration of friendship, genuine support, and the boundless possibilities offered by the arts.
