Over 1,300 Delegates from 65 Countries: OGT 2026 to Bring Participants Together in Ashgabat

Ashgabat will host the "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026" (OGT 2026) international conference and exhibition from October 21 to 23. According to the organizers, more than 1,300 delegates from 65 countries had registered to participate by October 10. The agenda focuses on the development of gas resources, the expansion of export infrastructure, hydrocarbon processing, and international technological cooperation.
From Resource Base to New Projects
The OGT 2026 program covers key areas of development for Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector. Major topics include the continued development of the Galkynysh field, the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, prospects for operations in the Caspian Sea offshore zone, and the development of gas processing and petrochemical industries.
Addressing these issues within a single conference reflects the broad range of challenges facing the industry—from field development and gas transportation to the expansion of industrial processing capabilities. The implementation of major energy projects requires not only a solid resource base but also the attraction of capital, engineering expertise, equipment, and modern technological solutions.
International Cooperation: A Practical Component of the Agenda
A key focus of the conference is the alignment of Turkmenistan’s energy priorities with international investment, technology, and engineering expertise. The forum offers industry participants the opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation and establish business contacts.
Registration Extended to October 15
Due to high demand, the organizers have extended conference registration until October 15. Requests for B2B meetings are also being accepted until this date.
