5G Network Has Been Launched in the Avaza National Tourist Zone

A fifth-generation mobile communications network, 5G, has been launched in the Avaza National Tourist Zone ahead of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The new technology provided high-speed internet access during international events and will now continue to meet the digital needs of guests and holidaymakers visiting the resort area.
The development of modern telecommunications infrastructure in Avaza is part of ongoing efforts to improve digital services in Turkmenistan. The introduction of 5G has created additional opportunities for stable internet connectivity, data transmission, and the use of modern online services during international meetings that brought together representatives from various countries.
Efforts to develop telecommunications infrastructure and introduce advanced communication technologies are being carried out by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan. The ministry continues to expand digital communication capabilities, improve service quality, and create conditions for the wider use of modern technologies in different regions of the country.
Following the conclusion of the events, the 5G network will remain operational in Avaza, providing holidaymakers with access to high-speed mobile internet. This is particularly important for a tourist destination where modern communication technologies play a significant role in organizing leisure activities, staying in touch, using digital services, and sharing travel experiences.
The launch of the fifth-generation network marks another step forward in the development of Avaza’s digital infrastructure, strengthening its potential not only as a venue for international events but also as a modern tourist destination.
