EBRD and Export Hyzmat Will Hold Export Consultant Training Programme in Ashgabat

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), together with Export Hyzmat, is organizing an in-person training programme in Ashgabat for consultants specializing in export promotion. The initiative is aimed at developing professional consulting expertise within the country and preparing consultants capable of supporting Turkmen manufacturing companies on their path to entering foreign markets.
The programme consists of two training modules focused on practical work with real-world export challenges.
Module 1: Export Marketing and Working with Distributors
The first module, “Export Marketing, Product Promotion and Working with Distributors,” will take place on 21–23 October 2026. It will be delivered by French trainer Mohamed Es Fih, a specialist with more than 20 years of experience in international marketing, e-commerce and export digitalization.
Participants will explore practical aspects of developing export marketing strategies and building relationships with distributors — areas directly related to the task of bringing Turkmen products to new markets.
Module 2: E-commerce
The second module, “E-commerce,” will take place in November 2026.
This module will focus on practical work with international B2B e-commerce platforms, which are becoming an increasingly important channel for manufacturers in the region to reach foreign buyers.
Who Can Participate
The programme is open to practicing consultants specializing in export promotion, as well as professionals working in export strategy, marketing, sales and e-commerce who are interested in providing consulting support to Turkmen enterprises.
Special Programme Requirement
A distinctive feature of the programme is its practical rather than purely educational focus. Each participating consultant is expected to nominate a Turkmen manufacturing company that is ready to cooperate with the consultant during the training, develop its export activities and open a paid account on the international B2B platform Alibaba. Thus, the training of consultants is directly linked to a specific practical outcome — working with a real enterprise — rather than being limited to theoretical preparation.
During the selection process, priority will be given to consultants whose nominated companies demonstrate readiness to develop their export activities and enter international B2B platforms.
How to Apply
The number of places in the programme is limited. Applications are accepted until 13 October through the registration form at the following link: https://forms.gle/pA2QjmEwEQ1mbjHn7
