Ukraine says it is ready for trilateral talks with Russia and the United States
Ukraine is willing to take part in trilateral talks with Russia and the United States and hopes such a dialogue can be held in October, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhii Tykhyi said.
Speaking at a press conference in Kyiv, Tykhyi said Ukraine is prepared for both leader-level meetings and trilateral consultations at other levels.
He said Ukraine is working with international partners on five possible ceasefire formats. These include a full and unconditional ceasefire, as well as proposals on the safety of navigation in the Black Sea developed jointly with Türkiye and Egypt.
Kyiv is also reviewing an energy-related proposal put forward by India and an option for an energy ceasefire that has been discussed with the United States.
According to CCTV+, Ukraine says it is ready for different negotiation formats and is considering several initiatives aimed at achieving a ceasefire and reducing risks to energy and transport infrastructure.
