Global Food Week 2026 opens in Abu Dhabi
Global Food Week 2026 will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 6 to 8, focusing on global food security, investment and international cooperation across the food industry. The event is organized by ADNEC Group in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority.
The third edition will be the largest since the event was launched in 2024. This year, it will bring together 2,580 participants from 92 countries, including producers, investors, buyers and policymakers.
For the first time, the event will combine B2B and B2C formats, aiming to create more opportunities for food companies to enter new markets, attract investment and engage directly with consumers.
The second Global Food Security Summit will also be held during the week, bringing together government officials, researchers, experts and industry leaders to discuss resilient food systems, innovation and long-term food security.
Last year's event featured more than 2,000 exhibitors and brands from 75 countries, welcomed over 40,000 visitors and generated agreements worth a total of 6.6 billion dirhams.
According to CCTV+, Global Food Week 2026 is expected to become one of the major international platforms for discussing the future of the global food industry, with a focus on investment, innovation, supply-chain resilience and food security.
