Samsung Releases One UI Security Update for Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 Ultra Series

Samsung has begun rolling out a new September security patch for its flagship Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 Ultra series smartphones.
For the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra, an update numbered S918BXXSAFZI1, with a size of approximately 562 MB, has been released. Meanwhile, users of the Galaxy S24 Ultra in Europe have started receiving firmware version S928BXXS3AXI1, which is 442 MB in size.
The main purpose of the package is to improve the overall security of the Android operating system and Samsung’s proprietary One UI interface. The update addresses critical vulnerabilities discovered in the system, closes security gaps affecting data protection, and includes targeted bug fixes to ensure more stable device performance.
The firmware is being rolled out gradually across different regions. Smartphone owners can manually check whether the update is available in their device settings under the “Software Update” section.
