New Medical Centers in Ashgabat and Archman Facility to Open for Healthcare Professionals' Day


The commissioning of major medical facilities and the hosting of an international forum will be key events marking the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, celebrated on October 10. Preparations for these festivities were discussed at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday.
The country's medical infrastructure is set to expand with the addition of several high-tech complexes. Preparations are underway in the capital for the opening of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology, the International Center of Pediatrics, and a new Dental Center. Simultaneously, construction has been completed on a new additional building for the renowned Archman Sanatorium in the Baherden District of Akhal Province.
The centerpiece of the celebratory program will be an international exhibition and scientific conference dedicated to healthcare, education, and sports. The event will showcase cutting-edge technologies, treatment methods, and the application of digital solutions in clinical practice.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the consistent nature of the national healthcare system's modernization and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of organization for both the professional forum and the opening ceremonies of the new specialized facilities.
