Five Polling Stations to Open in Turkmenistan for Russian State Duma Elections


On Sunday, September 20, 2026, citizens of the Russian Federation present in Turkmenistan will be able to vote in the elections for deputies to the ninth convocation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan is organizing the operation of five polling stations. Polling stations will be open in all of the country's provinces from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time at the following addresses:
Polling Station No. 8035 (Ashgabat): 11 Turkmenbashi Avenue (Department of Education, Science, and Culture of the Embassy of the Russian Federation);
Polling Station No. 8291 (Turkmenbashi): 81a Makhtumkuli Avenue (Consular Office of the Embassy of the Russian Federation);
Polling Station No. 8290 (Turkmenabat): 129A Bitarap Turkmenistan Street (Lebap Velayat Cultural Center);
Polling Station No. 8288 (Mary): 31 Vatan Street (City Administration building);
Polling Station No. 8287 (Dashoguz): 9 10 Yyl Abadanlyk Street (City Administration building).
Citizens of the Russian Federation who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to vote. Voters must appear in person and present a valid international, diplomatic, or official passport.
