Turkmen Universities to Host International Conferences on AI and Smart Cities
In October 2026, higher education institutions in Turkmenistan will host a series of international scientific and practical conferences in a digital format, featuring the participation of foreign scholars and experts from relevant international organizations.
As Deputy Prime Minister Bayramguly Mammedov reported at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday, the forums will be hosted by the following institutions:
The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, which will organize the conference "The Role of Innovative Technologies in the Construction and Industrial Sector" (covering the concepts of "smart" and "green" cities, automation, and robotics); The Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, where the conference "National Artificial Intelligence Technologies: Digital Economy, Smart Diversification, and Sustainable Development" will be held.
