The Parliament of Turkmenistan is working on a package of new bills, including the Law "On the State Protection of Akhal-Teke Horses in Turkmenistan" and the Law "On State Registration of Real Estate Rights."

Dunyagozel Gulmanova, Chairperson of the Mejlis, reported on the progress of legislative activities during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday. In addition to drafting new acts, lawmakers are introducing amendments to existing laws regarding leasing, joint-stock companies, publishing activities, and the licensing of certain types of activities.
