Winners of the "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" Youth Vocalist Contest Announced
The results of the final round of the "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" televised contest for young performers have been announced in Ashgabat; the event is traditionally held as part of the creative competition for the President of Turkmenistan’s "Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry" (The Golden Age of the Turkmen) Award.
Fourteen finalists—comprising two vocalists from each province (velayat) as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag—competed in the concluding gala concert at the "Ashgabat" Song and Music Center. The participants performed folk songs, classical compositions, and works by contemporary authors.
By decree of the Head of State, the seven winners of the televised contest were awarded diplomas and commemorative gold chains:
Kerem Atabayev — student at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management; Perhatmuhamet Esenov — student at the Sakhy Jepbarov Specialized School of Arts (Arkadag city); Aylar Shohradova — student at the Turkmen State Institute of Culture; Bayrammyrat Yakubov — choreographer at the Madav Rural House of Culture (Balkan Province); Rovshen Kakayev — dancer at the Akdepe District Cultural Center (Dashoguz Province); Atamurat Mukhtarov — choreographer at the Yyldyz Rural House of Culture (Lebap Province); Mahri Akmyradova — student at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan (Mary Province).
