Ambassador of Turkmenistan Meets with Deputy Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia
On August 31, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov met with Raed bin Khaled Karmali, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom for Public Diplomacy.
During the meeting, the Saudi diplomat briefed the Turkmen side on the implementation of the “Vision 2030” strategic programme, aimed at the country’s large-scale socio-economic development. He emphasized that young people are a key driving force behind these transformations.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to further strengthening Turkmen-Saudi relations in the political, cultural and humanitarian, as well as scientific and educational spheres.
In particular, the Ambassador put forward proposals to further expand cooperation between higher education institutions, including through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and relevant cooperation documents.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of exchanging experience in this field, training students, and organizing joint scientific conferences and exhibitions.
