The CIS Transport Security Strategy for 2026–2030 Will Be Discussed in Detail in Ashgabat


The 111th meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States Economic Council, scheduled for September in Ashgabat, will focus on the security of international logistics corridors and the implementation of high technologies. Preparations for the high-level forum were discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday.
In a narrow format, the meeting participants will review the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for Ensuring Transport Security in the Territories of CIS Member States for International Transportation for 2026–2030.
In an expanded format, emphasis will be placed on the activities of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification, as well as the draft Concept for the Development of Cooperation between CIS Countries in the Production of Advanced Materials for High-Tech Industries.
