On August 27, 2026, a meeting between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Ukraine was held via videoconference.

The participants included Serdar Kepbanov, Director of the Trading House of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan; Valeriy Korol, Vice President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and representatives of the business communities of Turkmenistan and Ukraine.

The main purpose of the event was to support small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in import and export activities, establish direct contacts between business representatives of the two countries, and identify promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation.

During their remarks, representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries emphasized their interest in intensifying direct interaction between entrepreneurs, regularly exchanging business information, exploring market opportunities, and seeking new forms of cooperation. Attention was paid to the prospects for developing ties in the textile and chemical industries, the transport and logistics sector, as well as other areas of mutual interest.

Particular emphasis was placed on the role of transport and logistics links in expanding mutual trade and utilizing Turkmenistan’s potential for the development of trade routes in the region. The participants also expressed support for further facilitating the search for reliable business partners and holding direct B2B meetings between entrepreneurs.

During the videoconference, representatives of Turkmen and Ukrainian businesses presented information about their activities and specific business proposals.

The meeting demonstrated mutual interest in giving new impetus to contacts between the business communities of Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
