The “Medeniýet we Syýahat” magazine of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan organizes domestic tourist trips aimed at promoting the country’s tourism potential.

The next route will take place on August 19–20, 2026, and will focus on the historical monuments of Ancient Merv. The journey will be made by train, giving participants an opportunity to explore the historical and cultural heritage of one of the most significant ancient cities of Turkmenistan.

As part of the organized trips, tourists are also offered routes to the Avaza National Tourist Zone, historical monuments included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the valleys of Koytendag, and other interesting tourist destinations across the country.
