Turkmen University Students Complete Energy Summer Program in Malaysia

Students from three leading technical universities of Turkmenistan took part in the international "Uniten Energy Adventure – Summer Camp" program in Malaysia.
From July 23 to August 4, the participants studied advanced energy technologies and explored Malaysian culture at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).
The visit was organized under a student exchange agreement between UNITEN and three Turkmen higher education institutions: the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
The program combined practical scientific training with intensive academic learning. Students worked at the university's Information Resource Centre, met with leading experts, and completed practical sessions in UNITEN's modern laboratories. They studied solar energy systems, bioenergy, robotics, and the activities of the PERL research center, while also participating in seminars on renewable energy and data analytics.

The academic program was complemented by a rich cultural agenda. Turkmen students visited Malaysia's major landmarks, including the famous Saloma Bridge and the historic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, gaining insight into the country's traditions and architecture.
The successful implementation of the program was made possible through the dedicated efforts of UNITEN lecturers and student volunteers. The summer camp provided an excellent platform for enhancing the professional skills of young Turkmen specialists, strengthening international academic cooperation, and promoting the "science–education–industry" concept.
