Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to France Meets with the Leadership of the Akhal-Téké France Association


On August 5, Maksat Charyyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the French Republic, held an online meeting with Nicolas Menu, President of the Akhal-Téké France Association, and the Association’s Vice President, Héloïse Girardi.
The meeting focused on preparations for the World Equestrian Championship and the Ahalteke Horse Beauty Contest, which will take place on September 4–6, 2026, in Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Ambassador briefed the participants on the progress of preparations and invited the Association’s leadership and members to take an active part in the upcoming championship.
The Association’s representatives expressed their gratitude for the invitation and confirmed the strong interest of French Ahalteke horse owners in participating in the event. It was also noted that there are currently around 300 Ahalteke horses in France.
