Turkmen University Teachers Completed a Language Internship in Nice, France

From July 19 to August 1, four French teachers from Turkmenistan completed an intensive teaching internship at the Francophonia educational center in Nice. The project was coordinated by the French Institute in Turkmenistan as part of the Fonds Équipe France program of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The Turkmen delegation included a representative of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and three teachers from the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. This initiative builds on a similar successful project launched in 2025, confirming the country's commitment to strengthening the teaching of French in higher education institutions in Turkmenistan.

The two-week program combined theoretical and practical seminars on methods of teaching French as a foreign language, as well as an introduction to innovative educational approaches and digital tools. The course featured outdoor lessons on the history of Nice and intercultural evenings, allowing Turkmen specialists to exchange experiences with colleagues from around the world. The instructors will incorporate the lessons learned and methodological developments into the curriculum for university students.
