UNICEF to Host a Series of Educational Seminars at KIDS EXPO 2026 in Ashgabat
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) will open an educational platform at the International Exhibition and Fair "KIDS EXPO 2026: All for Children", which will be held in Ashgabat from August 19 to 22. The exhibition is being organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Expo company.
UNICEF's special program will be part of the business section of the exhibition and will focus on key aspects of child health, nutrition, and early development. UNICEF experts and international consultants will conduct interactive seminars for parents, medical professionals, and educators.
The experts will focus on the first 1,000 days of a child's life—a period that determines their subsequent health and development. Participants will be presented with practical guides on breastfeeding, the proper introduction of complementary foods, and the development of a balanced diet. Separate sessions will be devoted to positive parenting techniques, stimulating early brain development, and recognizing symptoms that require immediate medical attention.
UNICEF's educational program will be part of the KIDS EXPO 2026 business program, which will bring together representatives of government agencies, the expert community, and businesses to share best international practices in child welfare.
