The 15th anniversary St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF), originally scheduled for October 6–9, 2026, has been postponed until April of next year. This was announced in an official statement by PJSC Gazprom.

The decision to postpone the date was made due to the busy schedule of international events in October of this year. Several major events on related topics are scheduled for this period: Russian Energy Week, the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit of Heads of State and Government, and the Russia–Africa Summit.

The St. Petersburg International Gas Forum has been held since 2011 and is a key platform for discussing the global energy agenda. The 2025 SPIGF was the largest in history, with over 35,800 delegates from 52 countries participating, and 620 companies presenting their innovative developments on an exhibition space of 51,000 square meters.
