During a visit to the Netherlands, a Turkmen government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atakhalliyev held a series of talks with the leadership of global leaders in dredging, marine engineering, and hydrological education.

In Kinderdijk, the delegation visited the production facilities of the shipbuilding giant Royal IHC and met with the management of Damen Shipyards. The focus was on the modernization of Turkmenistan's water management infrastructure, dredging at key water bodies, and the supply of specialized high-tech equipment. Dutch companies expressed their willingness to establish direct business contacts with relevant Turkmen agencies.

The scientific and educational part of the talks took place in Delft at the Institute for Water Education IHE Delft, where the Turkmen delegation met with Rector Professor Graham Jewitt. The parties discussed the launch of joint educational programs, research exchanges, and the organization of advanced training courses for Turkmen water specialists.

Turkmenistan proposed establishing a direct partnership between IHE Delft and domestic specialized universities and invited Dutch companies and experts to participate in joint business events and a forum in Limburg in September.
