In The Hague, talks were held with Joost Flamand, Director General for Political Affairs at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Frans Prinsen, Director of the Cabinet of His Majesty the King. In Maastricht, at the Limburg Provincial Administration building, where the historic Maastricht Treaty was signed in 1992, the Turkmen delegation met with Emil Ruhmer, King's Commissioner (Governor) of Limburg.

The main topic of discussion was preparations for the Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Days, which will be held from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the Peelbergen equestrian center in Limburg. Governor Emil Ruhmer accepted the invitation to be the guest of honor at the event and confirmed the full support of the regional authorities for the project.

A separate focus of the talks in Maastricht was the initiative to establish direct twinning and interregional ties between the province of Limburg and one of the velayats of Turkmenistan. This partnership is intended to encompass the areas of agriculture, trade, technology, education, and tourism.
