Astrahan Hosts Conference Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence and the Meeting of the Halk Maslahaty
On July 29, a conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the country's Independence and the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held at the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan).
The event was attended by diplomats, the leadership and representatives of the Astrakhan Regional Public Organization for the Preservation and Development of Turkmen Culture, as well as Turkmen students studying at universities and colleges in the region.
During the conference, participants discussed the key successes and achievements of Turkmenistan over the years of independence.
Special attention was paid to the significance of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty as a crucial political and public event in the life of the country. Representatives of the Turkmen diaspora and student youth delivered reports and commemorative speeches before the audience.
