A meeting was held at the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan between Deputy Chairman Sukhrobjon Bobokalonov and the heads of the Turkish investment company Finwest Finance Company, the Union of Eurasian Local Governments, and the joint venture "SD TURKMEN HALY."

The main topic of the talks was the joint development and phased implementation of the large-scale cultural and tourist project "Küçük Türkmenistan" ("Little Turkmenistan") in ancient Bukhara. The initiative envisions attracting direct investment for the construction of modern hotel and tourism infrastructure, creating a unique space for showcasing Turkmen national handicrafts, traditional carpet weaving, ethnography, and gastronomy.

The project is based on a deep historical and scientific foundation. A memorandum of cooperation was previously signed between Bukhara State University and the SD TURKMEN HALY enterprise, aimed at the comprehensive study and revival of Turkmen carpet weaving in the region. Historically, the 19th-20th-century "Bukhara carpets," renowned globally, are in fact of Turkmen origin, and the new complex and its associated research center aim to combine these ancient traditions of Turkmen carpet weaving with modern design, technology, and academic science.

Representatives of the parties discussed the project's financial and organizational mechanisms, phased commissioning schedules, and job creation. Following the meeting, the participants agreed to form a permanent working group to detail the technical and economic parameters of the complex, which is destined to become a new landmark on Uzbekistan's tourism map.
